Type 2 diabetes can cause serious complications, so knowing how to recognize them is very important. Even pre-diabetes can increase the risk of heart disease, like diabetes, Type 1 and Type 2. The symptoms of type 2 diabetes is caused by high blood sugar include:
  • Always thirsty
  • Always hungry (especially after eating)
  • Dry Mouth
  • Frequent urination
  • Unusual weight loss (even if you eat a lot and always feel hungry)
  • Fatigue (weakness, exhaustion)
  • Vision blurred
  • Headache
  • Coma (rare)

Type 2 diabetes is often not diagnosed until health complications appear. Often there will not be a symptom of diabetes or the gradual development of the symptoms mentioned above. In fact, about one-third (1/3) of people with Type 2 diabetes do not know they have made it.
